Zion National Park TripBy John Kim | April 26th, 2009 |
Me and my wife recently had a trip to Zion National Park which is located at Utah. So I thought I’d take the opportunity to share some vacation photos, and hopefully it may inspire one of you guys to take a trip there as well.

Zion National Park

You know you’re in Utah when you see one of these

Showing Athletic Prowess on the River Walk Trail

Entering the Narrows

That’s a wild freaking Turkey

A Lonely Stretch Of Road

Dude that’s a freaking deer!!

This is Checkerboard Mesa, and I just love the composition of this shot

The view from the East Rim Trail

This is my sexy pose taken by my wife. Although I might look extremely sexy, I’m holding back a lot of exhaustion. At this point we just walked up a 2.5 mile trail which was all incline
.

Take a look at this trail from above, and that was the easy part.

Here is that last stretch of the East Rim Trail, it’s called Angels landing, and it’s the most extreme trail I’ve ever been on. I can’t begin to describe how crazy Angels Landing was, but think about it, you need a chain to complete it. Why a chain? well it prevents you from falling 5000 feet to your death. Angels Landing was really scary, but the view at the end of this trail is worth every bit of urine that soaked my pants.
If you got a top ten list of things to do before you die, definitely check out Zion National Park. It’s like a theme park except everything is only one theme, and the main attraction could cost you your life.
