Can you believe the wealth of information you can get from randomly browsing through peoples blogs? Well today I stumbled upon a website that will forever change the way I approach studio lighting. It has always seemed that studio lighting was the secret sauce that separated the novice from the pros. There were many occasions where I would see great lighting and wonder how it was pulled off. Now the secret of the sauce is out the packet.
Sylights.com is a web 2.0 site, that allows photographers to make lighting diagrams, and share them with others painlessly. But being somewhat selfish, and guarded about my photography knowledge, I would probably never reveal what I know. But I’m glad there are people who have no problem sharing their techniques.
Go to Sylights.com, and see what I mean. I’m giving you gold, and this will never happen again. You can thank me later.
