My Opinion on the Deadliest Warrior

By John Kim | July 31st, 2011    Retweet

For the longest time I put the Deadliest Warrior in my Netflix instant queue, but I was never really compelled to watch it. Yesterday I finally started watching and couldn’t stop watching it until episode 10. What I learned from the show is that Samurais can take out a Viking, A knights armor is bullet proof, and Nunchucks are no match for a Louisville Slugger.

Flash Mob Dances are Sooo Cool

By John Kim | July 30th, 2011    Retweet

Ever since seeing the Modern Family episode where that one gay guy does a flash mob dance for his lover, I was really hooked on Flash Mobs. I would love to be involved in one of these, because as a kid my favorite thing to do was memorize choreographed dances. That’s why this T-Mobile Flash Dance commercial is so cool, and is probably the best one I’ve seen. They definitely used professional dancers while most flash mobs are full of amateurs who are out of sync, and just not good. Which brings me to another point, wouldn’t it be great to go to a wedding of two professional dancers?

Cat Hotel Commercial by Commercial Kings

By John Kim | July 28th, 2011    Retweet

I heard about the commercial kings a few years back, but never really followed them. Apparently, they are now doing cat hotel commercials. They literally make this lady look like a fool, but I think it’s funny enough to be effective. I think her cat hotel business will definitely get a lot of customers. But can you imagine the smell in that place? Cat Poop is the stinkiest ever, I mean when my dog takes a dump I barely smell anything. What’s up with that?

Very Creative Stop Motion Painting

By John Kim | July 27th, 2011    Retweet

I’ve honestly never seen this before in my life, it looks like this video took them a few weeks to do. in the beginning it looked kind of stupid but you’ve got to wait about 30 seconds for the painting to start. I wonder how much paint was used to create this strange and wonderful masterpiece. Well if you’ve never seen the stop motion painting before, check this out.

Daniel Reese Shoes are SWEET

By John Kim | July 26th, 2011    Retweet

I pretty much wear the same pair of shoes until they wear out before I buy a new pair. The most shoes I’ve ever owned at one time is 3, so you can definitely assume that I’m not much of a shoe person. Daniel Reese has made me want to be a shoe guy, because his custom designs are absolutely awesome. I mean who can resist the Pac Man Shoes, and with my birthday coming up, I definitely want these.

Joanna and Mynor Engagement Portriat

By John Kim | July 25th, 2011    Retweet

Joanna and Mynor were definitely the most interesting couple to photograph. When we first met at the ranch, they told us that they were camera shy, but soon all of that went away. For two people who proclaim to be camera shy, they didn’t need much direction in posing. What you see in the photos was completely them, which made our jobs a lot easier. And can you believe Joanna was sick that day? I definitely had a great time at the ranch, and the location really matched their outfits.

Fashion Blogger Dayna Nicole Wearing Rhinestone Leaf Earring

By John Kim | July 24th, 2011    Retweet

Dayna Nicole is a Fashion Blogger, and her site is ‘A Motley Shrew‘. When I noticed that the earrings on one of her pictures looked very similar to the Rhinestone Leaf Earring that Pixics was selling, I just had to include that in my own blog. Doesn’t it look great on her, especially with that outfit? I always get excited when I see pictures of people wearing our stuff, it lets us know that we are doing something right. Unfortunately that leaf earring is sold out, but if we get requests, then I will definitely purchase more.

David Choe: Dirty Hands Documentary

By John Kim | July 23rd, 2011    Retweet

I find some of the most interesting things just browsing online. This was definitely a random find, but I found this documentary about a Korean American Street Artist David Choe. The guy is definitely a tortured soul, but it’s what gives him the inspiration for his art. In a weird way, this movie inspires me to reach my dreams. Go check it out, it’s a full length feature film.

Featured Fashion Blog: Fleur Luxe

By John Kim | July 22nd, 2011    Retweet

I stumbled upon a cool blog which simply states that it’s about beauty, fashion, and entertainment. It’s called Fleur Luxe and the author, Kimberly Espinoza, provides a wealth of knowledge for those of us who are fashion dumb dumbs. From the very first page, she gives us tips on shoe size, provides the 411 on the Sigma Travel Brushes, and introduces us to new music. All the articles goes into great detail, and they’re even accompanied by diagrams. I wouldn’t be surprised if she turned her blog into a beauty and fashion textbook. Also, just like Pixics, she’s holding giveaways on her site as well. If anything, that should be enough reason to follow her, unless you hate free.

The Real Life Batmobile

By John Kim | July 21st, 2011    Retweet

Maybe I just get really easily impressed, but seeing a real functioning, street legal Batmobile is like a geek dream come true. Apparently this is a turbine powered model, which takes it’s engine from a decommissioned military helicopter. The reasoning behind this was to get a real authentic sound, the same as in the 1989 movie. I haven’t watched the original Batman film in a long time so my memory is a little fuzzy on the details. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is the most expensive car in the world, because why wouldn’t it be. It really is the only one of it’s kind. And if you finished watching the video, I could just imagine the peoples faces when they saw the Batmobile rolling down the street. Priceless.
