Gabe BandocBy John Kim | January 8th, 2009 |
A filipino singer/songwriter I discovered online. I love his song about Gentlemen, it’s a very beautiful song. I’m not actually sure if he wrote this song, but if he did, then kudo’s. I’ll keep my slanted eyes on this guy, not in a sexual manner though.
I got a video embedded for anyone one facebook, click to read more on this.

HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!By Jenny Kim | January 4th, 2009 |
Dear Diary,
On January 1, 2009 we had finished watching the Rose Parade in Pasadena, and it was the first time we had seen it in person. Knowing that it would be pretty crowded near the parade grounds, we figured that we would take the metro rail there. When nearing closer to the parade the metro was getting more and more crowded, but I prefer this over trying to find parking for 1 hour. I won’t sugar coat my metro experience though, I admit to a few scary moments on our way to Pasadena. Midway into our trip there was a drunk white guy talking in a ghetto accent, and I couldn’t understand a single word that came out his filthy mouth. The few words that did make sense was when he told my husband about how his dad died for him in Korea. What the heaven? Anyways, he smells like he didn’t take a bath for years, and we tried our best to not give him eye contact.

Best Baby Names of 2008By Jenny Kim | December 28th, 2008 |
Two days before Christmas, Richard Walker Sault made a big entrance into this world, weighing about 14 pounds. He was sent home from the hospital, at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center in Laguna Hills because none of the clothes fits him. After seeing the news on the biggest baby ever born in Orange County, I decided to compile a list of best baby names of 2008.

My take on Bruce Pardo the Santa ShooterBy John Kim | December 27th, 2008 |
If you haven’t caught the news in the past few days, you would probably have heard of a man dressed up as Santa Killing 9 people and himself. His name is Bruce Jeffrey Pardo, and the ones who died were family members of his ex wife. The full story isn’t known, but it’s expected that this tragic event was triggered from his recent divorce.

Police BrutalityBy John Kim | December 27th, 2008 |
Remember that the only difference between cops and robbers is that cops are the lesser of two evils. The lesson you can take away from this is that power corrupts, so thank goodness for hidden cameras.

Let’s Run Our Government Like a BusinessBy John Kim | December 22nd, 2008 |
I reluctantly went to the DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) about 2 weeks ago to finish off a wild goose chase that my insurance company put me on. When it was my turn to take a number, the employee at the front desk gave me a cold stare like I was trash, and rudely told me that I was next. He asks me about the purpose of my visit, and I explain it to him in a normal tone, but without even listening to me, he gives me a BS answer in a very aggressive voice. My blood was boiling, but I didn’t make a scene, I just calmly grabbed a number and took a seat. But it was one of those moments where if I could do it again, I’d take my number and give him a nice juicy head butt. But considering that our state of California is having one of it’s biggest budget deficit, I have to wonder why we have so many incompetent people working for the government. I have to say, if we ran the government like it was a business then there wouldn’t be a budget deficit.

In light of the recent shoe attack on George Bush, I’ve compiled a list of people who I’d like to throw my own size 10 at.
1. Navin Jain CEO of Intellius. He’s the one that scammed me out of 40 bucks. He deserves a big shoe in his face. see related post

INTELLIUS IS A SCAMBy John Kim | December 15th, 2008 |
Intellius claims to be a website that can check the background on anyone they choose. I chose to do a reverse phone number check because about 2 months ago I found this lost dog which had a phone number on it’s collar that didn’t work. I was desperately trying to find this dogs owner, and went as far as paying 4.95 to intellius to do a reverse phone number search. Unfortunately, and not surprisingly, Intellius came back with nothing and refunded my money. Luckily I used a credit card because today I found a strange charge of $19.95 to a company called 24 Protect Plus.
I do some Google investigation and discover that many people have fallen for this same scam. They grab your credit card number with a fake people search website, then months later when you least expect it, they charge you on your card. An amount small enough that it probably goes unnoticed by a lot of people. But how are these scam artists allowed to still be in business and not thrown in prison.
just remember: DO NOT EVER DO A PEOPLE SEARCH
here is some resource material to look into: source
