Feeling a bit tiredBy John Kim | February 12th, 2009 |
For the last few months a lot of things have happened to me. I got married, started a new job at Michael Stars, I ended up taking some clients on for my side business, and I’m trying to promote this website. When you are doing this many things, you are bound to crash and burn. I pretty much sleep later than I should be sleeping, and I wake up feeling like my eyes are on fire. It’s not pleasant to be feeling this way, and on top of that I haven’t been working out as much as I should or taking care of myself very well. I even think that my hygiene hasn’t been up to par lately.

Valentines Date on a BudgetBy John Kim | February 9th, 2009 |
Here are 10 ideas for valentines day that won’t break the bank, and if you play your cards right you might get lucky and get to play some cards. My favorite game is go fish, what’s yours? I pulled this list from an article on today on msnbc.
1. Devise a plan. Especially if money is tight right now, sit down and talk about what makes the most sense for both of you this Valentine’s Day. Is this really the year to long for diamonds? For expensive flowers that will wilt and die in a matter of days? For a high-dollar night out? Instead, consider focusing on spending quality, memorable time together this year — sans a big outlay of cash.

The Single Mother with 14 childrenBy John Kim | January 30th, 2009 |
The world is in crisis, we are having a population explosion, and it’s wreaking havoc on our environment. Did you know that in the 1950’s there were only about 2.5 billion people on this earth. Out of all the millenniums of human history we were left with only 2.5 billion people in the 1950’s. In only 60 years from that time we are now stuck with 6.5 billion people, and that number keeps growing. With this many people on earth, we are crowding out every other living species, human suffering has increased, and because of our lust for energy we are warming up this planet like a microwave. I’m afraid for this planets survival, so when I hear a story about a women (Nadia Sulaiman) from Bellflower California having 8 babies, with 6 children prior, I get real upset. I feel this women should have no support from anyone, and should live with her children in a homeless shelter. Irresponsibility such as this should not be rewarded.

Car TroubleBy Jenny Kim | January 21st, 2009 |
Dear Diary,
On January 18th 2009, I was coming home from church after teaching my Sunday School class. While I was driving back home my tires popped, and I started losing control of my steering wheel. The car directly behind me was tailgaiting and it nearly hit me while I was trying to change lanes. I was lucky though, because there weren’t many cars on the road, but if it was a regular weekday then I probably wouldn’t be writing this right now. So after I parked the car, I called my husband, and he ended up running 2 miles from our apartment to rescue me *haha*. I’m such a lucky girl.

2009 OBAMA’S InaugurationBy Jenny Kim | January 20th, 2009 |
Happy Obama Day! I congradulate Obama in being the first White/Black American President. Although everyone seems to consider Obama to be black, he’s really mixed and I believe he’s representing the unity of blacks, whites, and all other races. Here is to the change that Obama brings to our country, and hopefully it will be for the better, not for the worst. And although we voted for Ron Paul, we still believe that Barack is the lesser of two evils. One thing is for sure though, this is a historical date and everyone is celebrating this day wherever they may be. Click Here to View more of Obama’s Inauguration.
