Calgon Ancient Chinese Secret CommercialBy John Kim | May 8th, 2012 |
I thought this commercial was pretty funny. Seems like a good way to shut people up would be to reply with ‘Ancient Chinese Secret’ to everything. Plus do you think it’s odd that the wife is speaking perfect english but is wearing traditional chinese garb?

Me and My Son Working OutBy John Kim | April 20th, 2012 |
Just got the new Nikon J1 camera, and wanted to make some videos of me and my son. Although the J1 doesn’t come close to the quality of images from the NEX. it’s still a great camera to just tote around. I’m also impressed with the video quality, it totally beats my 10 year old Panasonic Camcorder. I really hope that Nikon comes out with a very fast prime lens so I can work on some bokeh.

Truth About Group AssignmentsBy John Kim | March 28th, 2012 |
Trust me, in group projects at school, I was the one to do all the work. But without incentives there’s really no way around it.

Oh Man, My Computer Burned UpBy John Kim | August 1st, 2011
|

This is unprecedented, my computer burned up and now I’ve lost everything. Fortunately I backed up most of the data onto an external. But the moral of this story is that Compaq Presario is a very poor computer. My Sony Desktop is going on decade now, but the Compaq died within 4 years. Next computer will be Japanese made, because they know how to build electronics. On the bright side, I followed my own advice and purchased a Asus laptop 2 months ago. The must be some kind of divine intervention kind of shit going on. The world has fallen into perfect alignment, and I can’t believe it. Lucky Me.

My Opinion on the Deadliest WarriorBy John Kim | July 31st, 2011
|

For the longest time I put the Deadliest Warrior in my Netflix instant queue, but I was never really compelled to watch it. Yesterday I finally started watching and couldn’t stop watching it until episode 10. What I learned from the show is that Samurais can take out a Viking, A knights armor is bullet proof, and Nunchucks are no match for a Louisville Slugger.

Barack Obama Hip HopBy John Kim | July 18th, 2011
|
I found this interesting video that shows Barack Obama rapping. It is very cheesy and the guy doing the impression looks more like Tiger Woods than Barack Obama. Anyways it’s mildly humorous, so enjoy it.

Great Rant About Being Emotionally Involved in SportsBy John Kim | July 16th, 2011
|
As a kid, I was a real big fan of the Lakers, and this was before Kobe and Shaq. The two stars were Nick Van Axel and Eddie Jones. But as time went on and players got traded, I realized that the Lakers no longer were the Lakers that I knew. At least in college basketball, every person on that team is from that school, but why shouldn’t every person on the Lakers be from LA? Does it make sense to live and die for a team that is a constant revolving door of new faces?
So if you break it down what you have is a brand that represents nothing, and ordinary people being emotionally invested in watching millionaires playing a game. Also these millionaires don’t know who you are or care about you. This is a real wacko world we live in. I’d rather play basketball than watch millionaires play. And this is why it’s a much better experience to watch World Cup Soccer, or the Olympics.

You Rock My World MJ Acapella MultitrackBy John Kim | June 23rd, 2011
|
Dr. Kim (Me) was doing some hardcore research on youtube a few days ago. What started out as a simple search for parkour police chases turned into something wonderful and eye opening. Now I’ve always been a fan of acapella, it’s been a secret dream of mine to join an acapella group. So when I saw this video, I was instantly impressed, inspired, and jealous all at the same time. To think that this cover was done with nothing but voices is amazing.

Xenia’s Cover of Price Tag is AWESEOME!!!!By John Kim | June 10th, 2011
|
Anyone following ‘The Voice’? Well the only voice I’m following is Xenia, because she has that great rasp which is very much like Norah Jones. She could sing Mary Had a Little Lamb and it would get a standing ovation. Just hear it for yourself, and does anyone know how to get this version on iTunes? Now if you would excuse me, it’s time to do some glut hikes for my bad back.
