At a quick glance you might think “That’s a nice little portrait, and the chick doesn’t look too bad either”. Well, if you completely ignored the title, then that is a CGI women you are looking at. Lately, I’ve been seeing a bunch of these photorealistic CGI People, which probably couldn’t be done 10 years ago. When I was in Highschool I was lucky to take a class in computer graphics, so I know the difficulty to pull off a photorealistic person. There’s little nuances with the human face, and if it is even a tiny bit off, then the brain can easily detect that something is wrong.

I wonder how much longer it will be before we can have movies where photorealistic people are acting in it? Maybe that’s already happened with the release of the new Tron Movie, and how they made Jeff Bridges into a younger man. Well, it’s going to be hard to believe everything we see these days.

Anyways, the artist who created this cgi women is an indonesian by the name of Max Wahyudi. And the head is of a Korean actress by the name of Song Hye Kyo. Max is obviously an over obsessed dirty little freak making photorealistic CGI head shots, but he’s still a gifted dirty little freak. He describes his process of making the cgi women, which is an interesting read.

I would like to see more examples like this CGI women from other artists.
