40th Anniversary Party at the Cerritos Senior Center

Henry and Rosie celebrated 40th Anniversary years of marriage this past weekend. This event was held at the Cerritos Senior Center, and was beautifully decorated by the daughter of the two couple, Selena Presley. The amount of detail that went into decorating each table was astonishing, which made my wedding look like a piece of turd. I especially loved how there were bottles of Martinelli’s on each table with what looked like a tuxedo cover. The candy bar was also something new that I’ve never seen before, and it was a nice bonus for all the guests at the event.

Being the event coordinator, Selena had requested that Curiosity Media pay extra attention to all the little details of her work. We spent a good 2 hours, before the guests arrived, photographing everything we could from the banquet hall.

Curiosity Media also had the chance to showcase, for the very first time, their studio set up. We had the task of photographing every guest at the event, which tested us to the limit. Having to pose about 100 people in less than a few hours was basically a Nightmare on Elm Street. At first I thought I would have the chance to do something creative with everyone, but because time was against me, I was forced to rely on 2 different poses. My biggest challenge was to get them to stand in the proper place. Whenever I told them to scooch over to the left, they ended up scooting backwards. Next time I should get those air traffic controller sticks, and just do things that way.

All in all, Curiosity Media did a great job at the event. Many businesses forget about customer service, but coming from a customer service background, I know how important it is to treat people like they’re people.
