People have always had a fascination for stopping motion, and capturing them in a photo. Having my subjects jump in the air and doing silly poses is pretty much a staple of my photography repertoire. Stopping motion can allow us to see a different world that can’t be processed by the normal human eye. And the concept of even freezing a balloon pop or falling water droplets is simple. You just need to set a camera to its highest shutter speed setting, but you do need to compensate for lighting and exposure. Although cameras with better performance would probably make it easier to capture anything high speed.
